Steve is Founder of Red Fuse, WPP’s global integrated agency servicing all of Colgate-Palmolive’s brands worldwide. Under Steve’s leadership, Red Fuse was consistently recognized for the high quality of its work across all communications disciplines. The agency won 23 Cannes Lions (including the first Data Lion ever) and 5 Effies. It received the highest level of recognition for its digital performance. The work developed for HIll’s Science Diet was awarded a “Genius” rating and best in category by L2. Red Fuse Mumbai was awarded Digital Media Agency of the Year in India in 2014 and 2017. Red Fuse also served as the lead agency for UNICEF’s global climate change efforts.

Today, Steve is Global Client Innovation Leader for WPP. He is responsible for developing new structures and new capabilities for WPP’s Global Clients. He is building the first global eCommerce marketing and communications network that provides clients with a holistic solution, including Business Strategy, Analytics, Content Development, Search and Media. He is also partnering with Global Client Leaders to design and implement new integrated agency structures that help clients grow their brands and drive efficiencies.

Steve joined WPP in 2009 from Y&R, where he was President of International. During his 18 years at Y&R, Steve acquired a unique global experience that spans every region of the world. His international client experience includes: Kraft, Xerox, Philip Morris, Novell, Castrol, Danone, LG, UNHCR and Bacardi.

Steve is on the international advisory board of EDHEC Business School in France. He is also on the board of the YMCA of New York.

Steve attended the Phillips Exeter Academy and graduated from Princeton University in 1987. He is a pilot of single-engine airplanes with an instrument rating and speaks four languages: English, French, Spanish and Italian.

In addition to its work with Colgate-Palmolive, Red Fuse is a long term communications partner of UNICEF and The Global Fund, the institution dedicated to raising and allocating funding for the prevention and treatment of HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

Steve joined WPP in 2010 from its subsidiary Y&R, where, in his last assignment, he was President of International Business. During his 18 years at Y&R, Steve acquired a unique global experience that spans across many categories and every region of the world. Previous international account experience includes: Kraft, Xerox, Philip Morris, Novell, Castrol, Danone, LG, UNHCR and Bacardi. Steve continues to support Y&R as a member of the company’s Executive Committee.

Steve is a member of the YMCA of New York Board. He also serves on the international advisory board of EDHEC Business School in France.
