Chief Strategy Officer
James joined Red Fuse from MEC in December 2011 to lead media strategy, planning, execution and measurement for Colgate-Palmolive’s brands worldwide. As Red Fuse’s first CSO, he will be CP’s key strategic partner, working directly with Global Advertising, Consumer Insights and Divisional teams in four key areas:
- Developing long-term brand strategy across the full C-P portfolio
- Ensuring best practice for campaign planning, and improving the quality of our insights and ideas
- Evolving the way we plan & evaluate our work through the integration of new data sources and analytic techniques
- Strengthening our overarching digital strategy, to help CP develop the right assets to drive their business
Internally, James will lead the Red Fuse planning community. In this role, he will also oversee the development of Red Fuse’s overarching corporate strategy, identifying areas for growth and key external partnerships.
James was born in London and graduated from the University of Manchester. He moved to New York in December 2011 where he lives with his wife and two children.
